1. About these terms
This website is operated by Mindful Consultant Services Ltd, company number 12985727, registered office 11, Wood Crescent, Bicester, OX25 2BD (“we”, “us”), trading as brucegreenhalgh.com and mindful consultant services Ltd. These terms cover use of this website and the general basis on which we provide the services described on it. They sit alongside — not instead of — the individual client agreement you sign before therapy, supervision or mindfulness work begins, and any separate written agreement for organisational/corporate work.
2. Services we offer
For individuals:
- Therapy & Counselling — weekly 50-minute sessions, online or in person
- Mindfulness — 1:1 sessions or short courses, online or in person
- Retreats — residential retreats currently in the Peloponnese, Greece
- Supervision — clinical or group supervision, online or in person
For organisations:
- Training (open programmes, CPD, bespoke/in-house)
- Mental health training and programmes
- Wellbeing strategy, audits, programmes and guidance
- Crisis & resilience readiness and critical incident response
- Keynotes & speaking
- Retreats & offsites for teams and leadership groups
Fees for individual services are indicative and shown on the relevant page; organisational work is quoted and agreed individually. All fees are reviewed periodically and the fee confirmed at the time of enquiry applies.
3. Making an enquiry and booking
Enquiries are made via the contact form on this website. Submitting an enquiry does not itself create a booking or a contract for services — it is the start of a conversation. A booking is only confirmed once we have corresponded directly (by email or otherwise) and agreed a date, format and fee, and, where applicable, you have signed a client agreement.
4. Fees and payment
Current indicative fees are:
- Therapy & Counselling: £75 per session
- Mindfulness: £50 per session (course pricing depends on duration)
- Supervision: £75 per hour (individual) / £50 per hour per person (group)
- Retreats: from approximately €800, varying by retreat and duration — see the Retreats page for current dates and pricing
Payment is due before each session, by BACS to Mindful Consultant Services Ltd. We do not currently take payment through this website.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling — individual sessions
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice than this will be charged in full. We will make reasonable efforts to give you similar notice if we need to cancel or rearrange a session ourselves.
6. Retreats — additional terms
- A non-refundable deposit of 100 Euros secures your place; the balance is due by 1 Month before the retreat.
- You are responsible for arranging your own travel and travel/medical insurance to and from the retreat venue.
- You are asked to disclose any relevant physical or mental health considerations in advance so we can make reasonable adjustments where possible; this information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Our cancellation policy for retreats is: full refund minus deposit if cancelled more than 4 weeks before the start date.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a retreat in circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), in which case we will offer an alternative date or a refund of monies paid, less any costs already committed to third parties (venue, catering, etc.).
7. Confidentiality and its limits
As a BACP-accredited practitioner, Bruce Greenhalgh works in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. What you share in sessions is treated as confidential, with the following limits, which will also be explained in your client agreement:
- Where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to another person
- Where disclosure is required by law or court order
- Anonymised discussion in regular clinical supervision, as required by professional practice
These limits apply equally to critical incident and post-incident response work, including scenarios involving suicide or self-harm, where statutory or organisational reporting obligations may also apply.
8. Professional standards
Bruce Greenhalgh is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works within its Ethical Framework and holds professional indemnity insurance. BACP No 503739.
9. Your responsibilities as a client
- Attend sessions as arranged, and give as much notice as possible if you cannot
- Provide accurate information relevant to your work together, including relevant health information where asked
- Engage honestly and respectfully with the process
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work together, please raise it with us directly in the first instance at bruce@brucegreenhalgh.com. If a complaint relates to professional conduct and cannot be resolved directly, you may raise it with the BACP via their published complaints procedure at bacp.co.uk.
11. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, in line with professional standards. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with services provided is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for losses arising from your travel, accommodation or insurance arrangements in connection with retreats, which remain your responsibility.
12. Organisational and corporate engagements
Training, wellbeing consultancy, crisis and resilience work, keynotes and organisational retreats are scoped and agreed individually with the commissioning organisation. Where we enter into a separate written agreement or statement of work for that engagement, its terms take precedence over these website terms for that piece of work.
